Jude Chase Friday 080715“Currently, I am heading the Epic Art Collective. I am also a greeter and Prayer Team leader as well as doing volunteer work [in the Epic Church office] once a week. Until 5 years ago, I was acting pastor at The Gathering Christian Fellowship in Brentwood (Northern California) and head of IT at the Contra Costa Elections Dept. In January of 2010, I was hit by a car and was in a coma for about 2 weeks. I woke up unable to turn on my computer or even read the Bible. I was physically born again.

“After my injury, I trusted God alone to guide me in my journey. 3 years ago, my son and daughter-in-law became pregnant and asked me to move here. When I arrived, the first thing I did was look for a church. I was thrilled to see Epic, and it was only about a mile away! The first time I came to Epic, the sermon was “Hey Jude,” based on the book of Jude. I took that as a sign that this was to be my home church. I have not been disappointed at any point.

“I have too many favorite Bible verses, but today I will go with 1 Peter 4:10: ‘As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.’ “
